Year 6 05.03.26

Miss Line - 05 Mar 2026

English
This week in English we have started writing a narrative based on our class text “Goodnight Mr Tom”. We have carefully planned our writing to include the thoughts and feelings of the characters and have tried to include a range of sentence starters and dialogue.

Maths
For Maths we continued our work on percentages and revised our understanding of converting between fractions, decimals and percentages. We also used this information to order a range of fractions, decimals and percentages.

Science
In Science, we looked at how blood moves through the body and how the different sections of the heart pump the blood to the lungs and then around the rest of the body.
