Well done year 4 for a brilliant week at school! In maths, we have continued our learning of our multiplication and division topic. We have focused on learning our 3, 6 and 9s and applying this to worded problems, finding patterns and strategies to help us become quicker at recalling that knowledge. In English, we have begun planning our persuasive letter to ‘Mr Lace’, a character from the story ‘Krindlekrax’. We will be writing from the perspective of Ruskin (our main character) to try to convince Mr Lace to let us be the hero of the school play. The children had a fantastic time creating their digestive system T-shirts – thank you all for bringing these in, pictures will be attached below! In RE this week, we learnt about ‘dharma’ in Hinduism and how people might follow this in their daily lives. As always, please continue to read 5 times a week and write this in the reading record. Please also continue to play on TTRS, 5 days a week for 5 minutes a time (minimum). Times table knowledge will significantly help the children with their maths lessons in the coming weeks so this would be fantastic to do at home. -Spelling Lists-V437844885.pdf- -Homework map Aut 2.docx- -Newsletter Aut 2.docx-
