Year 6 Week 2

Maths
In Maths this week we have been looking at properties of shape and angles. We have been using our existing knowledge of angles and shape to identify missing angles at a point, on a straight line and within triangles and quadrilaterals. Next week we will be using mathematical equipment to construct 2D shapes.
English
In English this week we have been continuing our work on explanation texts. We have looked at ‘How bees make honey’ and will now be planning our hot write on the circulatory system.
Topic
This week we looked at how oxygen is transported throughout the body. In the playground we became blood cells delivering oxygen to the various parts of the body. In Art we completed our clay hearts.
