Well done year 6 for a fantastic week!
Its been a busy week with mock SATs which have (mostly) taken place in the hall, as they will in May. In between our SATs, we have continued with our maths and English lessons.
In maths, we have finished our topic of ‘fractions, decimals and percentages’. Our new topic will be ‘area, perimeter and volume’.
In English we have finished our war poems and next week, will look to perform these to each other.
The children have made mother’s day cards for a female figure at home and have written some lovely messages inside – don’t forget to get these out of your bags on Sunday!
No spellings today as we did our spelling test during the week for SATs so these will take place on Monday!
As always, please continue to read 5 times a week and continue to play TTRS. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and can wind down from our mock SATs!
