Year 6 VE Day celebrations!

Miss Line - 06 May 2020

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves.
As you know, this Friday we are commemorating the 75th anniversary of the “Victory in Europe” (VE day)

You may want to find out a bit more about it here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/48201749

This is a great opportunity to complete some work / activities that would link into our World War 2 topic that we completed earlier this year.

https://www.storiesoflynn.co.uk/virtualveday75/ - This website has lots of activities on their 8-day countdown and even a virtual disco on Friday!

https://pawprintfamily.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/VE-Day-75-Challenge-Badge-Activity-Pack-Small.pdf - This website has ideas for games and research projects. It even has wartime recipes that you may want to try!!

There are also lots of ideas for bunting, decorations and party hats that you may want to create if you are celebrating the VE day anniversary.

If you decide to complete any activities or if you are celebrating VE day at home, please remember to email me any photos. rline@brady.havering.sch.uk

I look forward to seeing what you have been up to.

Miss Line ðŸ˜Š
