Maths
This week in Maths we have started looking at fractions. We have been working out equivalent fractions and have been using them to order and compare fractions with different denominators.
Literacy
For Literacy this week we have been looking at the features of instructions and have written our own instructions on how to build an Anderson shelter.
Topic
As part of our new topic, we have been looking at how Britain prepared for the outbreak of WWII. We have looked at evacuation and how children were sent to certain parts of the UK in order to stay safe.
We have also looked at rationing and how posters were used to encouraged people to grow their own food.
