Year 6 Week 2

English
This week in English we have been researching and planning our non-chronological reports on the Arctic and Antarctic. Next week we will be editing and improving our reports before writing up our final drafts.
Maths
In Maths this week we have continued our work on fractions. We have been revising how to add and subtract fractions with different denominators and have been looking at adding mixed numbers.
Science
For Science we looked at how living things are organised and started an experiment to see how some fungi develop. We also completed an experiment as part of our Science day where we investigated whether longer legs could jump further than shorter legs.
