This week we have been editing our first draft and completing a final draft of our balanced argument. After half term we will be starting our new genre of writing – narratives.
Maths
For Maths this week we have been continuing our algebra topic. We have been solving one-step and two-step equations and have been looking at how to find pairs of values. After half term we will be using measures.
DT
This week, as part of our ‘Make do and mend’ project, we looked at how to complete different types of stiches. We looked at blanket stitch, whip stitch and running stitch. We practised these stitches on a piece of felt.
