Maths
This week in Maths we have been continuing our work on fractions and have been looking at methods to divide fractions by integers. We have also been looking at how to find fractions of a whole.

English
For English we have been looking at how to use semi colons within our writing and have started planning our newspaper article on the Titanic.

Science
In DT we looked at how triangles can be used to strengthen bridges and then created our own paper bridge and tested the strength of it.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS - excluding Nursery

Children born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026.
Applications close on 15th January, 2026. Offer day is in the evening of 16th April, 2026.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
