Miss Line - 13 Nov 2025

Maths
In Maths this week we have continued our work on fractions. We have been looking at how to add and subtract fractions with different denominators. We have also looked at how to add and subtract mixed numbers.

English
This week in English we have continued our work on sonnets. We have been creating our own sonnet based on a short film “anchored”. Next week we will be using our own ideas to create a sonnet.

Geography
For Geography this week we have looked at polar day and polar night and how these occur due to the tilt of the earth on it’s axis.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
