Maths
This week in Maths we have been revising different angles and looking at how to calculate missing angles around a point and on a straight line. We have looked at how to work out vertically opposite angles and angles within a triangle. Next week we will be revising our use of angles within polygons and parts of a circle.
English
In English, we have been looking at the clip “Alma” and have looked at how a setting description can set the mood of a narrative. We have written our own setting descriptions about the shop in the clip.
History
For History, we have started our new topic and have been researching the different African kingdoms and empires. We found out the dates of these empires, who ruled them and the main trade.
