English
This week in English we have been continuing our work on Sonnets. We have watched the clip “Anchored” and looked at the different metaphors and meanings within this clip. We have then started writing our own sonnet about this.
Maths
In Maths we have continued our work on fractions. We revised how to add and subtract fractions with different denominators and how to add and subtract mixed numbers.
Geography
For Geography we looked at polar day and night and how the tilt of the Earth leads to extended hours of darkness / light in the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
