Year 6 11.03.22

Miss Line - 10 Mar 2022

English
This week in English we have been writing our own narratives based on ‘The Lady of Shalott’. We have spent time editing and improving our writing and focusing on the key skills we have been learning.

Maths
For Maths, we have been continuing our work on area and have looked at how to use formula to calculate the area of a triangle and parallelogram.

Science
In Science we have continued our work on the circulatory system. This week we have looked at the different blood vessels that can be found in our body and their functions. We also looked at the importance of exercise and eating a balanced diet to ensure our circulatory system remains healthy.

Next week will be assessment week where children will be completing assessments in Reading, Grammar and Spelling, and Maths.
