Year 6 Week 2

Miss Line - 13 Jun 2019

Literacy
This week we have started writing a narrative based on our new topic ‘Hola Mexico’. We are making sure that we include a range of punctuation in our writing and all of the grammatical features we have been practising throughout the year.

Maths
Throughout the week we have been looking at, and solving, algebraic equations. We then started looking at number sequences and will be using algebra to express these patterns,

Topic
Thank you to all the parents who attended our shared learning this week and helped us decorate our Day of the Dead skulls.

This week we went on an interesting trip to the Museum of London Docklands where we met the owner of the Three Mariners in Victorian sailor town and we were able to look at a range of Victorian artefacts.
