Year 6 Week 3
Miss Line - 15 Nov 2018
We started off our week with a visit to the Natural History museum. We looked at human evolution and found out lots of information about what the earth was like millions of years ago. All of the chidlren were very sensible on the train and at the museum - they were a credit to the school.
Literacy
This week we have been planning and writing our 'Hot Write' diary entries. We have used a range of punctuation and description and have been editing our own work.
Maths
In Maths we have been continuing to practise our use of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions along with finding fractions of amounts and quantities.
Next week we will move on to geometry: co-ordinates, translations, reflections and circles.
