Topic
This week we have started our new topic 'Darwin's delights'. We have started by using laptops and search engines to research who Darwin was and why his work was significant.
Literacy
We have started looking at the features of a diary and collecting descriptive language to use in our own diaries. We have started writing diary entries as though we are Darwin.
Maths
This week in Maths we have been revising fractions.
We have been converting equivalent fractions and have been using this to order and conmpare fractions. Next week we will be looking at improper fractions and mixed numbers and will be using this to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions.
