Week 12 in Y6

Last week in Y6, our minds were completely blown in mathematics where we all stretched ourselves to both multiply and divide fractions by whole numbers (it sounds easy to do-but it's really not!).
We also continued to look at poetry. We looked at specific poems by Ted Hughes and also at Talking Turkey's by Benjamin Zephaniah. We watched Talking Turkey's and had a go at performing it in groups. Rhys. A really does have a talent for performance poetry!
I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful poems that have been inspired by Benjamin's Zephaniah's poem and can't wait to read the children's homework.
Not long until Christmas now- I hope you're all enjoying making Christmas decorations for the classroom as part of the homework too.
