Miss Bates - 28 Mar 2024
Well done year 6 for not only a brilliant week, but also a fantastic half term.
This week in maths, we have been looking at statistics. We have covered: line graphs, dual bar charts, pie charts and finding the mean. We will revise this after half term to ensure this learning has been remembered.
In English this week, we focused on our comprehension skills and how to find information we want in the text. We also practised some of our grammar skills in preparation for SATs.
In science this week, we looked at how exercise impacts our heart rate. We completed this experiment outside and recorded our heart rates after each exercise.
In history, we look at the end of WW2 and researched dates for events such as D-Day.
All children have been sent home with a pack of homework today to be completed over the Easter holidays. It is really important that over the 2 weeks break, children are balancing free time with work so feel free to complete these as and when is best.
Below this. I will attach some helpful links to access at home to support with learning.
Please remember, reading and TTRS should continue as normal.
Happy Easter!
