Leavers Speech 2015
21 Jul 2015
I say with a great deal of sadness that it’s time for the class of 2015 to leave us today.
Much has been written in the newspapers about children needing to be Secondary ready and I can say that you are all ready to enter the exciting world of Secondary education. I hope that you follow your hobbies and talents, develop subject specialisms, maximize your opportunities by engaging in new experiences and continue to learn, discover and grow.
Change is good and I wish you all the very best of luck as you continue on your learning pathway. Work hard, keep your expectations of yourself and others high and enjoy the new experiences.
Of course, the class of 2015 is a particularly special one for me as it’s the first Year 6 cohort that I have been a Headteacher of. I will definitely remember you. I will miss you and I am proud to say you have been Brady pupils.
All the best,
Jon Bishop
