We hope you all had a great half term! The children have come back to Nursery with such enthusiasm which has been lovely. This week we have been reading our focus story 'Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes.' They joined in with the repetitive phrases. The children have been talking about their families and creating self portraits. They carefully looked at their facial features then painted themselves. We have also been doing lots of number work this week. The children have been identifying numerals, matching them to amounts and showing the amounts on their fingers. We have also enjoyed some of the sunshine in the big garden. The children have been developing their gross motor skills on the bikes and scooters and climbing up the climbing frame. The children have been learning the sounds 'e' and 'l' this week too.
