Nursery Home Learning. Week 4

20 Apr 2020

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter and enjoyed the lovely sunshine we have been getting under the current circumstances. Receiving images like these below have made me smile and I have enjoyed reading about what you have been getting up to.

A great idea is to perhaps think about who you are really missing and get creative by making them some special homemade gifts to give them once we are allowed to see our loved ones again. Here are some ideas:

Remember, using a range of tools really helps with children of a Nursery age to learn how to grasp tools that will later help them write. Threading, cutting, painting, digging and kneading (amongst many others) are all crucial to get those little hands and fingers moving!

This half term at school we would have begun to learn about life cycles. Can you help your child to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and the life cycle of a plant? If you have any seeds around, a great activity is to grow a plant and record a diary by drawing pictures and mark making how they evolve and grow.

Please continue to email me your lovely pictures. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. bdegun@brady.havering.sch.uk

Missing you all,
Mrs Degun x
