Miss Burgess Update 1/10

01 Oct 2021

The Little Red Hen makes a Pizza has been our story of focus this week. The children have been so immersed in the story and were thrilled when we got to make our very own pizza!
This week we have been talking about what makes a good friend, about sharing and being kind. In our story, the Little Red Hen’s friends were not always helpful and nice. We talked about this in class and spoke about what they should have done instead.

We have continued to practise our counting, singing and have enjoyed playing with some new puzzles that were donated to our class.

Next week we will be focusing our learning around another brilliant story; We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! 😊 Next week, the children will also be bringing home their reading records so we can start recording and rewarding reading at home.

Enjoy the pictures below and have a lovely weekend.
