Nursery Summer 1 Week 1

This week we have seen photos of our beautiful butterflies who Mr Hope and his family released in the Easter holidays. A new excitement for us is that we have been observing eggs in an incubator and today 6 chicks hatched and we even stroked one!
We are learning about Oliver's fruit salad and we will be making and trying a fruit salad later in the week. We will be counting fruit and trying to represent the numbers. We have made a shopping list and try to match the initial sounds to the fruits e.g. a a apple, b b banana.
The children also have been busy telling us about lovely things they got up to in the Easter holidays. We have heard about lots of trips out and Easter egg munching!
