Nursery - Miss O'Sullivan Class News

We have had so much fun this week! This week we have been reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have really enjoyed listening to this story. In particular the sensory story of Goldilocks. They listened to the instruments, felt the soft and hard materials and joined in with the words. The children also helped to make yummy porridge that was ‘just right’. They helped to pour in the oats, add the milk and stir it before watching it go round and round in the microwave. While listening to the story we spoke about the characters' feelings and whether Goldilocks was making good choices! At the end of the week the children had so much fun celebrating Space Day. They explored moon sand, made brilliant space paintings and explored the concept of floating and sinking. What a great week! Well done Nursery.
