English
This week in English we have been looking at the features of a newspaper and have been revising how to write an effective introduction and use direct and indirect speech. Next week we will be using these skills to write our own newspaper.
Maths
In Maths we have continued our work on rounding and have been rounding decimal numbers to the nearest whole and to one decimal place. We have also started looking at percentages and how to convert these into fractions and decimals.
Geography
This week we started our new topic “Sow, grow and farm” we looked at how land is used for different reasons across the UK and visited the local allotments to see how land in our local area is used.
