Year Five: Week Twenty

This week we have been completing the final drafts of our character studies and have produced some fantastic results.

In Maths we have been learning to add and subtract mixed numbers, learning a new method called 'selective partitioning' for particular question types.

As part of our Science topic, 'Animals, including humans', we looked at the life cycle of humans and the key stages that take place.

For fun, we have also been trying to learn the position of the 47 countries of Europe. This website (
