Year 5 19.10.23

Miss Line - 19 Oct 2023

English
This week in English we have been looking at how to use possessive apostrophes and have been including these in our biography writing. We have completed a first draft and a final draft of a biography of Beowulf.

Maths
For Maths we have looked at prime numbers, squared and cube numbers and how to problem solve using these.

Topic
We have now completed our learning on the Ancient Egyptians and some children have completed some excellent pieces of homework this half term. A new newsletter and homework map will be sent out in the first week back on our new topic – Earth and Space.
