Year 5 Week 9

We've had a wonderful week in Year 5.

We have continued our topical work about space and have further improved our understanding of our solar system. 

In Maths we have really worked hard to learn how to multiply and divide any number by 10, 100 or 1000.

On Friday we celebrated World Science Day and took part in an investigation where we investigated whether people who have longer legs jump further than those with shorter legs. Results were mixed, so technique clearly plays a role!

This week is also the week where we have activitated our new technology. Year Five were the first class to make use of our Chromebooks which can be used for Computing lessons, but also to enhance learning across the curriculum.
