Year 5 16.02.24

Miss Line - 16 Feb 2024

English
This week in English we finished our diary entry as a plague doctor. We made sure that we included lots of detail and description in our writing.

Maths
In Maths we have been continuing our work on decimals and have been looking at how to compare and order decimals with different amounts of digits after the decimal point.

Science
In Science we carried out an experiment involving chemical reactions where we looked for the best substances to make a fizzy rocket.

Homework
We have now finished our topic on “Peasants, princes and pestilence”. Well done to everybody who completed some work at home this half term. We received some excellent pieces of work.

Bikeability
This week some children also had the opportunity to practise their cycling with the cycle training scheme. All children made great progress!
