Maths
This week we have started our new unit of learning – Multiplication and division. We started by revising how to multiply a 4-digit number by a 1-digit number and then looked at how to multiply 2,3 and 4-digit numbers by a 2-digit number.

For English we have started looking at our text “Journey”. We have looked at how we can use a wide range of synonyms in our writing to make it more interesting and how cohesive devices are important to ensure our writing flows. Next week we will be using the text to write a setting description.

In History we have started our topic by learning about the different types of plague and the symptoms that people suffered in the 14
