Maths
In Maths we have been continuing our work with fractions. We looked at how to add two mixed numbers and how to subtract from a mixed number by breaking the whole. Next week we will be revising our use of fractions and completing our end of unit assessment.
English
For English this week we completed our final drafts of our moon myths. We then started our descriptive writing unit where we created our own life form from outer space and looked at how to use expanded noun phrases to describe these.
Science
This week in Science we revised all the information we have been learning about on our ‘Earth and Space’ unit and used this information to create our own planet. We included information such as length of day, how long it takes to orbit the sun and what the environment is like.
