Year 5 07.07.23

Miss Line - 05 Jul 2023

English

For English this week we have started looking at all the grammatical features we have learnt this year. We will then try to apply these features to our narrative next week.

Maths

In Maths we continued working on converting measures. We looked at how to convert between metric and imperial measures and how to read timetables accurately.

DT – Shared learning

For DT this week we looked at how to create stable structures. We completed different tasks to test the stability and strength of different shapes and columns. We then used our knowledge to try to make a strong spaghetti tower.
