This week, we started our new genre of writing by looking at a range of different biographies and identifying the key features of these. We have also recapped our use of was/were and nouns/pronouns. Next week we will be researching about the life of Henry VIII and will begin writing a biography on him.
Maths
In Maths we have continued our work on division. We have practised using formal written methods to divide 4 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers and have also used remainders. Next week we will begin a new unit – fractions.
Science
We have started our new Science unit this week – changes of materials. We looked at how we could identify which bottle of water contained salt by using evaopration. In order to do this, we set up our own experiment.
