Maths
This week in Maths we have started our unit on addition and subtraction. We have looked at how to use mental strategies to solve calculation and have revised how to add 4-digit numbers using written methods. Next week we will be looking at written methods for subtraction.
English
In English we have started our new genre – non-chronological reports. We have looked at the features and have looked at how we can used relative clauses and parenthesis in our writing to include additional information.
Art
This week in Art we thought carefully about the paint colours we could use and finished painting our canopic jars.
