Maths
This week in Maths we have been continuing our work on place value and have been partitioning numbers up to one million. We have also been looking at number lines and identifying different intervals on various scales.
English
For English this week we have been planning our own newspaper report. We have been using our grammatical skills to begin writing our own report about Beowulf defeating Grendel. Next week we will be editing and improving our writing.
Science
In Science we looked at the absorbency of different materials. We carried out a comparative test to see which material was the most absorbent.
