Year 5 Summer 2 Week 4

In English this week we have been continuing our work on newspaper reports and have started researching our final report on the death of Henry VIII.
Maths
In Maths we have started looking at the properties of shapes and have been comparing regular and irregular polygons. We have also been looking at 2D and 3D shapes. Next week we will be translating shapes on a grid and using coordinates to help us.
Science
This week was Science day where we all dressed up as a Scientist! In Year 5 we looked at the scientist William Kamkwamba. We researched his work and found out information about him and attempted to make our own windmills.
