This week we are learning about Zoo Animals. The children have been very busy so far this week...


We unleashed our creativity with some junk box modelling! We started off by making animals and zoos, then the children decided to make different things such as rockets and houses too. 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 We went around the school to ask different adults what pet they would most like to have. We recorded their answers on a graph and then spoke about our findings. Children were learning how to interpret the data to answer questions such as which was the most preferred pet? And, which pets got no votes?

 We really enjoyed Dough Disco!


Later in the week, we will be producing Tangrams of zoo animals and discussing the 2D shapes we use. We will also be discussing Animals and their babies. We hope you have a lovely Half Term next week. See you back at Nursery on Monday 3rd June 2024.
