Nursery - Miss O'Sullivan Class News

This week was the start of our new topic in Nursery- Puppets and Pop Ups!
We began the week making our very own sock puppet characters and we borrowed the puppet theatre from reception to perform some of our own puppet shows. 
We have also been practising counting to 10 and sang the song '10 green bottles' - we have even painted our own 10 green bottles and have placed them up on our wall in Nursery to remind us of the order 0-10. Miss Martin also bought lots of books in from home with pop ups, and different flaps which we had to lift up to discover what was hidden underneath. We enjoyed the farm animal pop up alot :)
This week we FINALLY had some warm sunshine and were able to enjoy our outside space in the warmer weather. We had snack outside and have spent time in the big garden on the climing frame and swings.
