Autumn 2 Week 5- Happy Birthday Maisy

First of all THANK YOU to all of the parents who donated Christmas decorations to us, our classroom looks wonderful thanks to you all!

This week we have been reading Happy Birthday Maisy. We have been talking about our own celebrations, learning the months of the year song, finding out when our birthdays are and counting candles onto birthday cakes. We have been decorating cupcakes, making music for Maisy's birthday party and playing party games!

A few dates to remember:
2nd Dec- Christmas Market til 6:30pm
12th Dec- Nativity (10am and 1:45pm)
8th Dec- Christmas lunch
16th Dec- Christmas jumper day
19th Dec- Class party (AM and PM)
20th Dec- Last day of term. No PM session and full time children go home at 1:15pm.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS - excluding Nursery

Children born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026.
Applications close on 15th January, 2026. Offer day is in the evening of 16th April, 2026.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
