Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely Half Term break. This week in Nursery we are learning about Diwali. The children have enjoyed learning the story of Rama and Sita and listening to different ways Diwali is celebrated.
We dressed up in saris, had "mehndi" painted on our hands, role-played the Diwali story and danced to Bollywood songs. We have been learning our 2D shape names whilst creating Rangoli patterns and practicing our number formations too. We have been learning about the role of Firefighters and what they do to keep us safe. If you are out celebrating Bonfire Night this weekend, we hope you have a wonderful time and keep safe!
