Welcome Back 😊 I hope you all had a fantastic break! This week in Nursery, we have focused much of our learning around Diwali. The children worked in small groups to make their own Diva Lamps, they enjoyed pouring, weighing and measuring the different ingredients needed. We have also started to learn about colour mixing, we used our new learning to mix red, yellow and blue to make green, purple and orange to make beautiful Mehndi designs. However, the highlight of our week was having a special guest come in to tell us all about Diwali. We learnt a lot and heard a wonderful story. Some of us even had the opportunity to try on a Sari and we all got to explore lots of different items associated with Diwali. Next week, we will be linking our learning to Firework Night. If you do anything this weekend please feel free to email over images to the office for us to share in class.
