Chinese New Year

This week we are continuing with our topic of Animals, we have been learning all about Chinese New Year.

We built dens for the animals and spoke about which ones appeared in the Chinese New Year story...

We roleplayed a Chinese restaurant and took eachother's orders...

We danced along to Chinese songs using ribbons and watched a dragon dance too...

We practiced using chopsticks and learnt about some Chinese cuisines such as noodles, dumplings and fortune cookies...

We painted and decorated our own fire breathing dragons...

We had races in the garden as the animals from the story!

NO NEED TO BOOK, BUT PLEASE ARRIVE PROMPTLY.

OCTOBER HALF TERM IS: MONDAY 27TH - FRIDAY 31ST OCTOBER INCLUSIVE.
Children return to schhol on Monday 3rd November, 2025.
