Maths
This week in Maths we have been continuing our work on fractions. We have revised equivalent fractions and have practised converting mixed numbers to improper fractions. We have also been learning how to compare fractions with different denominators.
English
As part of our poetry unit, we have planned our own animal poem using alliteration, repetition, similes and metaphors. We used the poem ‘Tyger Tyger’ to help us. Next week we will be moving on to our next unit of work where we will be creating our own myths.
Science
In Science we looked at the names of the planets in our solar system and made up mnemonics to help us remember the order of the planets from the sun.
