Miss Burgess Update 14/07/22

Happy Thursday!
This week in the Nursery has been incredibly hot! We have tried our best to stay cool by having lots of water out to play with and have tested different things to see if they would sink or float.
We are continuing to look at addition and subtraction and have introduced two new phonics sounds. This week, we have been looking at the sounds ‘w’ and ‘y’. The children enjoy learning new sounds and finding them in different words around the classroom.
Finally, we have been putting together a little speech for our performance and picnic next Tuesday. We are very excited to see you and spend some time together before the end of our Nursery journey.
