Miss Burgess Update 08/07/22

This week in Nursery, we have been learning the ‘r’ sound in our phonics session, while also recapping rhyming words and clapping out the syllables of our name and different words.
In maths, we have started to look at money. We have looked at the different coins and notes and have been counting pennies in piggy banks to find the different totals. The children have enjoyed making their own ‘price tags’ with post-it notes and sticking these on different things around the classroom.
In PE, we are continuing to learn the ‘Cha Cha Slide’ dance moves and have been practising our football skills with some simple dribbling and passing.
