Diwali and Remembrance Day
Miss Kelly - 13 Nov 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had such a crazy but wonderful week! We have been learning all about the festival of Diwali, Remembrance Day and celebrated Children In Need today by dressing up in our brightest clothes and wacky hairstyles.
In Maths we have been learning about shapes. We have learnt circle, rectangle, square and triangle.
Today we had a very special day and took part in a science experiment to celebrate World Science Day. For our science experiment we had to dunk biscuits in water and see how long it would take before they would break!! We found out that a party ring biscuit takes a very long time to break!
This week’s homework has been uploaded on Seesaw!
Next week is World Nursery Rhyme week so we will be doing lots of singing in Nursery! We’re so excited! We will also be learning about birthdays!
PE
This half-term we will be starting PE. For this term, our PE time will be on a Monday morning. If your child attends a session on Monday morning, please ensure they come to school in their PE kit.
PE will start from the 23rd November 2020.
Please ensure that your child’s PE kit and plimsols is clearly labelled with their name.
The Brady PE kit consists of:
- White or Blue T-shirt
- Navy or black tracksuit bottoms
- Socks
- Black Plimsolls
- Brady Jumper or Cardigan (because it’s so cold!)
Important: If your child attends on a Monday morning, please ensure they are not wearing any jewellery (including stud earrings) for this session.
Have a look at some of our pictures from this week!
Have a lovely weekend!
