This week, we have been learning about the Three Billy Goats Gruff, which was the children's choice because they saw the story last week and wanted to base their learning on it this week! Next week we will be reading the Gruffalo as our main text.
The children have enjoyed being the billy goats and balancing across bridges such as benches, waffle blocks and stepping stones. They have also been pretending to be trolls under the table! Some of us have been working on a field on painted green grass and flowers for the billy goats. This week we have noticed lots of the children can not put their coats on. Please practise this at home with your child. A good way to teach them is to lay it on the floor, put their feet by the hood, pop their arms in and flick it over their heads.
We have sent out Boom Reader log ins for the second time. Please sign up and read with your child three times a week. We cannot send home books unless you sign up to Boom Reader. We usually change our reading books on a Thursday, but please bare with us as we may need to catch up some tomorrow this week.
