Year 5 Spring Term - Week 10

This week was assessment week in Year 5.
Children completed written assessments in:
English Reading
Maths - Arithmetic
Maths - Problem-solving and Reasoning.
GPS - Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling
GPS - Spelling
The results of these assessments, among other things, will be shared with parents at the forthcoming parents consulations in April. Between now and then the Year Five team will be using the data from the assessments to target areas for development for children, adapt our planning to meet whole-class or individual needs, and to work out what has been going well so far this year.
Outside of the assessments, the children have also been leanring about the life cycle of insects (Science), Hobbies (French) and Computer Aided Design (Computing).
