Miss Burgess Update 24/9/21

This week we have been learning about the story, The Ginger Bread Man. The children have enjoyed painting their own Gingerbread Man, making a raft for him with our large Lego outside and very importantly have continued to develop some wonderful friendships.
We have continued to practise our counting, singing and have enjoyed retelling and sharing the story in class. The children have focused on identifying numbers from 1-5 and ordering these, we have also spent time this week learning about 2d shapes and using these to make patterns.
Finally, we have been working this week on our fine motor skills. We have spent time developing our pencil control and cutting skills.
Next week we will be learning about a Little Red Hen who makes pizza, we will even be making our own pizzas! 😊
