Teeny Weeny Tadpole

Miss Kelly - 21 May 2021

Dear parents/carers,

This week in Nursery we have been reading the story Teeny Weeny Tadpole and have been learning about the lifecycle of a frog. We have really been focusing on the key vocabulary of the different stages that a frog will go through before it becomes a frog.

The key voaculary that we have been learning is:
  • Frogsprawn (the eggs)
  • Tadpole
  • Froglet (baby frog)
  • Frog
In Maths, we have been learning the words tall and short and comparing different objects based on their size. We have also been comparing ourselves too!

Next week we will be reading 'What's in your tummy, Mummy?' and learning all about the lifecycle of humans. Next half term our topic will change to 'Ourselves'.

Personal Belongings!
Please ensure that all of your child’s school uniform/ belongings (including water bottle, packed lunch and school bag etc.) are all clearly labelled with their name. We are finding more and more each day that items are not labelled with names and therefore they can get lost more easily.

Seesaw
This week’s homework will be uploaded onto Seesaw at 9am today.

PE
PE will take place on next Wednesday Morning (26.5.21). Please note- after half term (week beginning 7.6.21), PE will move to a Thursday Morning (starting 10.6.21).

Please see some of our lovely photos from this week
